What is CLEP? The College-Level Examination Program® or CLEP provides students of any age with the opportunity to demonstrate college-level achievement through a program of exams in undergraduate college courses. There are 2,900 colleges that grant credit and/or advanced standing for CLEP exams.

Active Duty Tuition Assistance involves helping active duty military with Tuition Assistance. It is paid to eligible members of the Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force, and Coast Guard. Congress has given each service the ability to pay up to 100% for the Tuition Expenses of its members.
The DANTES Tuition Assistance Management Program (TAMP) involves processing tuition assistance reimbursement due for personnel assigned to active duty
PELL Grants
These grants are available through the federal government and are based on the previous year's income tax return. You can download a pell grant form online or contact your school to help you.
A Federal Pell Grant, unlike a loan, does not have to be repaid. Generally, Pell Grants are awarded only to undergraduate students who have not earned a bachelor’s or professional degree. (A professional degree is usually obtained after a bachelor’s degree in a field such as medicine, law, or dentistry.) In some cases, you might receive a Pell Grant for attending a post-baccalaureate teacher certificate program.
Pell Grants are usually a foundation of financial aid, to which aid from other federal and nonfederal sources might be added.

An FSEOG is for undergraduates with exceptional financial need—that is, students with the lowest EFCs— and gives priority to students who receive Federal Pell Grants. An FSEOG doesn’t have to be paid back. ScholarshipsPlease contact your Education Office for more information.

There is a new education benefit available to certain reservists who were activated for at least 90 days after September 11, 2001. It is called the “Reserve Educational Assistance Program” (REAP) or Chapter 1607.
